It's still an arcade game, but one that at least tries to simulate that zombies are something that would be quite dangerous if one would encounter them. Most Zombie games fail to do that. One big gripe I have with Dying Light though is the fact that you respawn at the nearest safe zone after being killed which can be quite immersion breaking.
